I was 22 when I started my first business.
Over a space of 7 years, I successfully grew that business to a team of 25 staff. We became known as the leader in the bookkeeping industry through challenging the traditional models of client management and service delivery which modernised the bookkeeping industry dramatically. Despite the company’s success, I was very aware that my business acumen at the time was limited, given my academic qualifications were in Psychology and Philosophy! I appointed a Business Coach at an early stage in my career, which helped me to grow the business significantly and successfully.
This experience ignited my passion for executive coaching. With a lifelong desire for helping others, I sold my bookkeeping business at the age of 29 and founded my coaching business Athena Coaching.
